As part of events leading to the much anticipated Art x Anatomy Exhibition in Term 2, Anatomy Society and Art Society are collaborating to present to you a group visit on the 25th of October (Friday) to the Hunterian Museum! We would be covering the exhibition "Body Parts: the Art and Application of Medical Illustrations," showcasing works by members of the Medical Artists' Association of Great Britain.
We will meet at Holborn Station at 3:10 pm (departing at 3:15 pm) and outside the Hunterian Museum at 3:20 pm, with the exhibition starting at 3:30 pm. Entry will be staggered, with groups of up to 10 people entering every 5 minutes as required by the museum for the best possible experience.
This is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in what London has to offer! The museum has unique specimens and curiosities that will definitely intrigue and inspire. Come along and meet like-minded people and make new friends along the way! This is completely free of charge but tickets are limited!
Social options afterward include nearby pubs (Shakespeare’s Head, Penderel’s Oak), cafes (Hunterian Museum Cafe, Pear Tree Cafe, Cafebotanical), and a picnic at Lincoln’s Inn Field. We are planning to gather after the exhibition and head over to one of these mentioned places depending on where people seem to want to go.
