Meet our Officials

Marco

I’m a final year economics student who’s been refereeing for a year and a half. Through that time I have obtained an FA Level 7 qualification and refereed 5-a-side, Sunday league, and local cup competitions. I am also a keen player and play for UCL club UCFC.

Issy

Hi! My name is Issy and I am a dodgeball referee for the Project Active Dodgeball Leagues and events. I am a part-time masters student studying an MSc in Globalisation and Latin American Development but I also studied at UCL for my undergrad too, meaning I am well ingrained in the walls by this point!

I started dodgeball in my first year (2017) and have since fallen in love with the sport. I currently coach the Women’s Competitive dodgeball team and play both in BUCS as Women’s Captain and also nationally with London Storm Dodgeball Club.

Dodgeball is one of those sports that at whatever level you play it, it’s always fun and a great way to let off some steam. I also love that it is so accessible and social -- you really can’t go wrong getting involved.

Alice

Hey! I’m Alice and I’m officiating the Social Dodgeball League! I started playing dodgeball in 2018 at UCL and I’ve been hooked ever since. It’s had a massive impact on my life by opening the door to an amazing community and allowing me to grow as an athlete. Having graduated, I now play for the local club London Storm dodgeball in national leagues.

I’m a British Dodgeball certified coach and ref and I’m super happy to help make dodgeball more accessible. It’s been great seeing players of all abilities getting involved and having fun in these leagues.

Come along as an individual or a team to discover a new sport and meet new people!

Diane

Hi! I'm Diane, and I'm the Project Active Social Sport Assistant. I help run the Social Leagues and attend all sessions to ensure they go smoothly.

I am a student in Italian and Management Studies, and when I am not studying or working, you can find me doing training with the Cheerleading Club or doing Project Active Classes.

I am more than happy to see everyone enjoy the Leagues we have run so far, and hope to see you enjoy them as well! I hope to meet you soon!
