We want community volunteering at UCL to be fulfilling, fair and valuable for all students. This is where the Volunteering Working Group comes in.
What is the Volunteering Working Group?
The Volunteering Working Group is a student-led committee which shares ideas and advises on how the Union's Volunteering staff team can work better for students. It is run by a diverse range of elected student positions through Students' Union UCL. The current Volunteering Society Committee, Volunteering Officers, Volunteering Reps and Volunteering Officers across our clubs and societies are all members, and we invite all student leaders with a direct interest in volunteering to join us at the start of each new academic year.
How does it work?
The Volunteering Working Group meets 4-5 times a year in Students' Union UCL. We hold in-person meetings and use the time to focus our efforts on a specific service-related theme with guest speakers from the Volunteering team. Members all have an opportunity to contribute in the meeting and their valuable input is used to develop our services and enable us to innovate through the year.
How do I find out more?
Our Volunteering Working Group is convened by our Volunteering Manager - feel free to get in touch with them to find out more.
