MedSoc are so excited to present our brand new Patient Stories series where we will be exploring patients' perspectives on a wide range of medical conditions 🌿

Our first talk will be about what it's like to live with Autism:

  • It will be featuring Kate Vickers, a speaker from the National Autistic Society,
  • And someone you may recognise... the wonderful Nidhi Sethi, a 4th year medical student at UCL, who runs a blog called 'Behind the Smiles' in which she discusses her experiences with ADHD and Autism.

We're also proud to be collaborating with RUMS Equity and UCL Autism Society on this inaugural talk ✨

Overall, we hope this series will offer a fascinating and more human perspective of medicine that is not offered in public discourse or medical training and we cannot wait to see you all at this talk :)
