Idea for research
Idea for research
SCT works to treat and support homeless people to improve quality of life and facilitate rehabilitation. We are interested in better understanding the factors of our programmes that contribute to the long-term success of the residents. This project would start by analysing the existing information that we collect on people who come through our programmes. This includes personal information, treatment history and drug-use, and can provide useful insight into the factors that influence the efficacy of the activities that SCT provide.
Impact of idea
This research will allow SCT to better understand how programmes result in various outcomes and what adjustments can be made to improve the rate of treatment success. As a result of this research greater awareness can be fostered around matching personal characteristics and requirements to particular treatment and support regimes. By highlighting the value that can be garnered from collecting and analysing resident data, and further data collection – and potential post-treatment programmes – can be developed.

If you have any existing data or information you would like included in a project, please tell us what kind of data these are
