The next Volunteering Fair is taking place on Thursday 3 November 2022. Read more about some of the organisations joining us on the day here!

What is the Volunteering Fair?

Our volunteering fairs are designed to help you discover London’s many vibrant communities and get involved in exciting opportunities. Each year we invite our community partners and student-led projects to set up a stall and speak to you about their roles, straight after the Welcome Fair at the start of term. It's a great opportunity to meet passionate volunteer recruiters and find out more about what's on offer.

The Volunteering Fairs take place on three days (Thursday 6 OctoberFriday 7 October and Thursday 3 November) from 12 noon to 3pm in the Wilkins South Cloisters. There will be different projects on each day, so feel free to join for one day, or attend all fairs!

Come chat with different charities and discover opportunities waiting for you across London!

Who will you meet at the Volunteering Fair?

The Volunteering Service is partnered with more than 400 volunteering organisations. You will have the chance to meet 100 organisations over the three days!

You can find a comprehensive list of charities, community organisations, and Student-Led Projects attending each fair in our Volunteering Fairs Catalogue. You can read about some organisations and their current opportunities in more detail here!

If you can’t attend any of the Fairs, you can still get involved with volunteering. Browse our Opportunity Finder or drop us an email if you'd like any help in finding the best opportunity for you!

You can also meet volunteering organisations in-person during the welcome period through one-off volunteering opportunities which only take a few hours!

Join our Discover Volunteering Talks during your lunch break and explore specific areas of volunteering (Heritage, Health, and Children).
