Idea for research
Idea for research
We aim to explore the influence of art on the wellbeing, lifestyle, and happiness of individuals. Our project involves conducting qualitative research among Black and Asian women aged 18 and above in Redbridge. Our goal is to gain insights into their current wellbeing, identify existing local activities, groups, and resources, and discern how to integrate art into the community, positioning it as an asset to positively impact the wellbeing, lifestyle, and happiness of the local communities.
Impact of idea
We created a platform to help black women prioritize their self-care. We aim to help them make lifestyle choices that puts them in the driving seat. improving confidence & empowering them to take control of their wellbeing. The Black Woman Kindness Initiative is a community centred organisation. We believe a collaborative and supportive approach will contribute toward building a stronger and more resilient community. We collaborate with Charities & community organisations and are always willing support upcoming small businesses. Improvement of well-being and personal development in marginalised communities, including Black and Asian women, through the implementation of art and culture in local communities.
