Isaac Chan

I’m standing for the position of Events Officer because I strongly believe in the philosophy of 'mastery for service.' Our pursuit of mastery—whether it’s mastery of knowledge, skills, or self-discipline—isn’t just for our personal gain but for the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. As a club, I want us to channel this philosophy by creating an inclusive, welcoming environment where members of all backgrounds and experience levels feel a sense of belonging and purpose. By organizing engaging new events that connect us more deeply as a community, we can encourage each other’s growth both within and beyond Kendo.

Additionally, I plan to introduce charity initiatives that allow us to share our passion with the broader community and give back meaningfully, embodying our values in a way that resonates beyond the dojo. Through these initiatives, I aim to strengthen our club’s culture, build lasting friendships, and ensure our collective impact is positive and far-reaching. Together, I believe we can grow as individuals and as a club, making each event a memorable experience and a true testament to the power of 'mastery for service' in all that we do.
