Italian Society: Treasurer

Ciao a tutti!!!!! I am standing for Treasurer of the Italian Society because I am passionate about promoting Italian culture and ensuring our society has the resources to host engaging events for our members. As Head of Events this year, I’ve already gained firsthand experience with organizing and budgeting events, such as our recent gathering with Romano Prodi, and I understand the importance of efficient and transparent financial management. I am committed to using my organizational skills and attention to detail to responsibly manage our finances, enabling us to expand our activities and create even more valuable experiences for our community. As Treasurer, I would be committed to fostering a financially sustainable environment that allows our society to thrive and continue celebrating Italian culture within our university community.

I am a student from Milan who moved to London four years ago. I have remained closely connected to our cultural roots, especially through the food, music, and Italian community. I also study management and data analytics, which requires strong analytical abilities and keen attention to detail, which will be invaluable in responsibly managing our society’s funds. My interest in pursuing a career related to resource management would make this role an ideal opportunity for my further development of the needed skills.
