Italian Society: Head of Sponsorships

I am standing for the Head of Sponsorships position in the Italian Society because I am deeply committed to enhancing the student experience by building valuable partnerships and bringing new opportunities to our community. Italian culture has always held a special place in my life, and I am eager to contribute to the society’s mission of celebrating and sharing it within UCL’s vibrant community.

One of my strengths in this role would be my multilingual abilities—I speak several languages, including English, French, Spanish, German, and Arabic. This skill allows me to connect with a diverse range of potential sponsors and create partnerships that resonate with our international community. I believe sponsorships should align with our society’s values and help us create memorable activities that bring a taste of Italy to UCL, from authentic Italian food tastings to insightful industry events.

Additionally, I bring a strategic approach to outreach and relationship-building, along with a collaborative mindset. I am excited to work closely with the committee and listen to members' feedback to ensure that the partnerships we pursue are both impactful and reflective of our society’s needs and aspirations. I am committed to making this year in the Italian Society an unforgettable one and believe I can help elevate our events and initiatives through carefully curated sponsorships.

I am a student from Milan who moved to London four years ago. I have remained closely connected to our cultural roots, especially through the food, music, and Italian community. I’d like to leverage these cultural connections, along with my outgoing personality, to secure sponsorships that align with society’s goals and bring value to our members.

With my outgoing personality, I am eager to find quality sponsors to potentially make our events even better, which would increase the overall participation rate and improve current society members' attendance. I am excited about the opportunity to engage with the Italian community and contribute to the society's growth through sponsorships that support our mission and improve member benefits.
