a visit to the British Library's exhibit on the lives and works of Medieval Women.

This exhibit enables the exploration of the rich and complex lives of women in the Middle Ages, with extraordinary items that reveal their artistry and experiences. Among over 140 items, literary highlights include:
The Book of the Queen by Christine de Pizan, the first professional woman author in Europe
The Revelations of Divine Love by Julian of Norwich: the first work in English definitely authored by a woman.
Besides these compelling texts, there will also be many material items such as a lion skull that possibly came from a pet lion of Margaret of Anjou, Queen of England, and a 15th-century manuscript birthing girdle.
