Rare FM: Head of Sponsorship and Marketing

Hello Rare Team!! My name is Niki and I am a second year English student. I have been a part of Rare for a year now and from my first show with my sister to this year’s show with a friend, I’ve really gotten to know what makes Rare so unique. If I am ever stranded on an island, you’ll find me cozied up with Leonard Cohen’s “Recent Songs,” Ornella Vanoni’s, Toquinho’s and Vinícius’s “La voglia la pazzia l'incoscienza l'allegria” and last but not least The Talking Heads’ “Stop Making Sense (Live)” album. I think I’d be a great fit for this role because I’m confident talking to people and good at making connections, which is key for bringing in sponsorships. I’ve got a knack for understanding what people are looking for and creating ideas that match, whether that’s through advertising or finding partnerships that align with Rare FM’s vibe. I’m invested in seeing our society grow and become even more visible. Rare FM has been such a great part of my time at UCL, and I’d love to give back by helping us expand our reach.
