Rare FM is UCL’s student radio station, founded in 1998 and broadcasting 10am-10pm daily. We stream live on Mixlr, with plans to soon begin streaming across UCL cafés and bars.

Rare FM puts on a host of diverse events throughout the year - including our club nights, music and media-themed movie screenings and socials with our extremely talented members!

Rare FM also publishes its very own music magazine - Under City Lights (UnCL), which has its own Substack. If you'd like to get involved with our magazine in any shape or form (writing / designing / photographing / curating etc.), drop us a message on Instagram/WhatsApp, and we'll add you to our talented group of creators!
