Fellow RAX-ers,
It has been great to meet so many of you during these past few weeks!
I am standing (running!🏃) for postgraduate officer because I want to give you the best possible experience during your time here. I am friendly, approachable and always here for a chat.
I can offer you:
- 8 years experience running 👟
- 4 years experience at UCL (I did my undergraduate degree here) 🎓
Some good reasons why you can vote for me are:
- I am good at yapping, running and directing people mid-run, thanks to years of training my little cousins 🗣️
- I have been actively involved with my local running club, Garden City Runners, with over 200 members 🎽
- I lead the stretches for my taekwondo class every Saturday 🥋
Let’s make this year the best year for RAX yet! Vote Ethan for Postgraduate Officer 😎
I want to be the postgraduate officer because I enjoy meeting new people and seeing their progress. I've done both my masters and PhD at UCL, so I have some idea of the stresses of postgraduate life and how running helps to manage it. It's been a privilege to lead the runs on most weeks for the past 3 years, and my extensive volunteering hours (coupled with my other contributions) have helped me earn an honorary lifetime membership, which is seen as the most prestigious award given by the Student's Union. If elected, here's what I can offer:
- Regular, reliable run leading for a wide range of abilities.
- Organising socials after the runs. We started doing this in spring 2024 and I'd be happy to restart them this year.
- Helping to conduct other training sessions with a coaching certification I'm working towards.
- Helping out in any other event.
