Polish Society: Marketing and Social Media Officer

I’m Fran Marszałek, a second-year student of Polish and Spanish and an active member of UCL’s Polish Society!

I am standing to be your next Marketing and Social Media Officer, working behind the scenes to advertise PolSoc events to current members and hopefully grow our community through our social media platforms!

My primary mission is to make PolSoc accessible to all, regardless of your connection to Poland or Polish cultural life! I want more people to explore Poland’s fascinating history and participate in its wonderful traditions! 

I believe I am capable of creating engaging and informative posts that can effectively advertise our Society and all of its amazing socials, events and outings.

I'm Julius! 
If you're reading this, I'll make my case very simple - I would strive to yield amazing results and feel at home as a Marketing and Social Media Officer for the UCL Polish Society, and HERE'S WHY:

1. I undertake active roles as a media officer and a dedicated representative for large organizations in Lithuania and the UK, so I am fully equipped with skills necessary to 'sell' and 'advertise' a thriving youth organization the UCL Polish Society is. 

2. Back home, I was a professional photographer/videographer, with a specialty in public/family events, so, with that, I would seek to complement the Society's social image with footage straight from our events, celebrations, or even informal outings. You can check my portfolio out here.

3. As a student of Politics, Sociology, and East European Studies at UCL SSEES (and in the same regard, as a neighbouring Lithuanian), I share the same love for and interest in Polish culture, history, and politics that all members of our society have, and, thus, I feel confident in my ability to convert all of this into palpable results that would attract more members to join and more audiences to notice us.

All in all, I believe in a more presentable, popular, self-confident, and close-knit Polish Society - and I believe we can achieve this together.
