Pole fitness isn’t just another sport; it’s a community facing more stigma and judgment than almost any other. But why?
I’m running for the role of Social Media Manager because I believe the right communication can reshape public perception and drive real change. As a dedicated member of this community, I know that we can challenge misconceptions and foster greater understanding with a strong and authentic voice online.
I’m inspired by Maria Ludovica, a German influencer and trailblazer, who has built a safe space for hundreds of thousands through her work in the pole fitness and showgirl world. Her influence proves that, with the right platform, we can shift perspectives and make people see the artistry and empowerment in our sport.
If elected, I’ll work tirelessly to raise awareness, celebrate our community, and ensure it’s seen as the safe, inclusive, and supportive space that it truly is. Together, let’s redefine the narrative around pole fitness!
Hi everyone! I’m excited to nominate myself for the position of Pole Fitness’s Social Media Manager. I’m Belle, a second year BSc Archaeology student from Hong Kong. Although I am a beginner in pole, I’ve had experience managing various social media accounts, both for school clubs (Marine sustainability team and school memes page!) and my own personal interests (cooking and archaeology :)).
With my background in social media, I’m confident I can help highlight our events, and the supportive, fun atmosphere that makes our club FUN! Also spreading pole fitness to the UCL community.
Thank you for considering me—I’d love the chance to run pole fitness’s social media page <3
