Pole Fitness Club: Showcase Director

I am standing for showcase director, due to a change in my position on committee. I initially applied as secretary, however a shift in administration and Student Union organisation meant that this role was dependent on shared responsibilities amongst the secretary and president/treasurer. This did not seem efficient, given the fact we were already  short staffed on committee. I decided to switch to showcase director to make the work load more equal for everyone, so that we could be more productive as a team and make the most out of our very few hands!
I've been on committee for a year now, as I stood as freshers rep last year. This provided me with the opportunity to familiarise myself with the structure of the society, so I have a good knowledge on the responsibilities which are required to be on committee. Showcases have always been my favourite part of our society, I've previously been involved backstage in many of last year's shows - and have even been stage kitten a few times! This year, I directed our halloween showcase - which felt like a huge success! Many people got involved, I personally went out to buy some decor and recruited helpers via our social media to help make up for the short staff. I have helped organise events in my personal life too, such as a swap shop for my community last year, and a fashion show whilst at sixth form.
My proficient communication and organisation skills meant that I am confident with directing our performances, if you will have me :)
