The UCL Campus Run will offer all UCL students, staff and alumni the opportunity to take part in either the 5km or 10km route on the inspiring Olympic Park at UCL East!

A new student life strategy initiative, the Campus Run will bring the UCL community together in positive, welcoming, and inclusive environment. This event is open to all levels of ability and experience; participants can use the flat and fast course to their advantage to aim to get a new personal best or enjoy the supportive environment to complete their first ever run.

We are excited to share that Run Through are our delivery partner for this event!

Finisher T-shirts

We will be offering participants the option to purchase a finisher t-shirt, which you can collect on the day once you have finished the run.

To buy a UCL Campus Run 5km finisher t-shirt, please click here

To buy a UCL Campus Run 10km finisher t-shirt, please click here.

Please note: we have priced our t-shirts separately from the entry fee. This is because we wanted to keep our fee as low as possible. Comparable run events that offer ‘free’ t-shirts simply have the cost of these built in so it’s invisible. We hope that this separation means more people feel able to join us on the run and those that want to, can buy a t-shirt as well.

Support students in hardship through your run

The Union supports students from a diverse range of backgrounds and nationalities throughout their university life - helping them take on challenges, experience new things, form communities, and develop essential skills. Financial barriers can be especially hard for some students and that should not prevent them from having amazing co-curricular and extra-curricular experiences and opportunities. We believe physical activity should be accessible to all and our Participation Fund supports students to fully participate in sport at UCL, regardless of their financial situation. By making a donation, you will help students facing financial hardship engage with sports at UCL and participate in big sports events like this one.

To make an optional donation to the Participation Fund, please click here.

Want to create your own fundraiser linked to the run? You can donate or campaign through our JustGiving page.

If you would like to practice running before the UCL Campus Run, grab a ticket for our UCL 5km Run at the Lee Valley VeloPark on Wednesday 20 March.

Come along to our Project Active Postgraduate Regents Park Run (Tuesdays 16:00-17:00) or our Project Active Women Only Running (Tuesday 17:00-18:00) groups, the sessions are free but you will need to book your ticket via the What's On Calendar.

Alternatively click here to find your local Parkrun. Parkrun is such a simple concept: turn up every Saturday and walk, jog or run 5k. It doesn’t matter how fast you go. It doesn’t matter what you’re wearing. What matters is taking part.
