"Just Dance" Ticket Announcement!
In response to the overwhelming interest in the IOE Ball, we are excited to introduce the "Just Dance" ticket option.
This special ticket will provide entry to the event starting at 9:30 pm, allowing attendees to join us for the exhilarating final live performance session of the evening. Please note that the "Just Dance" ticket does not cover catering and drinks, meaning it excludes the dinner service and drinks package available with the main event ticket. However, we are pleased to announce that a bar will be available at the hotel venue for the convenience of our guests, where drinks can be purchased separately.

Main Event Tickets Sold Out Announcement:
Thank you for expressing interest in the IOE Ball 2024. Congratulations to those who have successfully secured their tickets prior to the event reaching capacity. For those who were unable to purchase a ticket, we are sorry to announce that we cannot release more tickets. We aim to establish this event as a recurring tradition, so we encourage you to look forward to the IOE Ball 2025.
Following our final confirmation of attendee numbers with the venue, we regret to inform ticket holders that refunds are no longer possible. However, we are permitting the transfer of tickets between students. Please email our team the new ticket holder's full name and email address to [email protected] to facilitate the transfer no later than Monday 26th, 5pm. Please note: IOE tickets can only be swapped between IOE students.
We have created a group chat for people to exchange tickets. Please join if you want to resell your ticket or you missed out and want to secure a ticket. Please note that ticket exchange cannot be done after Monday 26th 5pm. This is because we need to confirm dietary requirements and finalise the food menu. We will send out a form to all ticket holders about dietary requirements and accessibility support. Please ensure you submit the form before Tuesday 27th by 5PM. If we do not receive your form in time we may not be able to accommodate your needs. For students who require halal food, the venue is happy to provide halal meat if there is enough demand. Once we have everyone's dietary information we will announce the finalised food menu.
*BE AWARE THAT WE WILL CHECK THE IDENTITY OF “IOE STUDENT” TICKETHOLDERS TO ENSURE THAT THEY ARE IOE STUDENTS.

- IOE ticket price reduction:
We are very lucky to have a new sponsor within the IOE, therefore we have managed to further reduce the price for IOE students from £68 to £40 to now £37!!
For those who have already bought a ticket, we are working with the student union’s finance team on refunding the difference in the coming days.
- We can no longer offer IOE students plus one tickets:
Unfortunately, receiving funding from the faculty means that we can no longer accomodate the plus one policy. Previously, IOE students could buy a discounted ticket for a plus one. We can no longer accomodate this because we have to ensure the funding goes to IOE students and that we have as many tickets as possible for IOE students. Apologies for any inconvenience!
- Password
IOE students will no longer need a password to access ticket sale, but we will check on a rolling basis to ensure that students are buying the correct ticket type. If non-IOE students are found to have purchased the £37 discounted ticket, their order will be cancelled and refunded.
