HRC Varsity 2023/24!
Come support our UCL team as we go up against Kings in this year's Varsity fixture!
We will be holding the fixture at Trent Park Equestrian Centre, where the KCL team train.
We will start the competition at 10 am and will be structure the day in the same way we usually do for our BUCS competitions as this will give both teams the best opportunity to showcase their skills. To make things interesting for you guys, we have added an additional phase to the showjumping, called an accumulator! We will be holding the dressage in the morning from 10:30 until around 11:30. In this phase all riders will have to perform a dressage test in front of a judge. After all riders have riden we will have a break for people to have lunch before the second phase. In the afternoon we will be holding the showjumping until about 2pm. Here, all riders will have to do a jumping course, and will be judged on style and performance. The accumulator will be held right after the showjumping. Here the rider will have to go over a second course, with each jump getting increasingly harder.
Trent park has a café for spectators to buy food all throughout the day, but do feel free to bring their own lunch, or snacks for the day!
You will be welcome to watch the event online, or support us in person (which we recommend ;)).
