Interested in supporting a cause that you're passionate about? Do you like the idea of fundraising but not sure where to start? Come to our information session to learn about the different ways in which the Volunteering Service can support you to do charity fundraising.
Doing a fundraising activity for charity is a great way of making a difference to people in need whilst also developing your own skills and having fun! Fundraising doesn't have to be complex or take too much time - it can just be a simple idea like doing a bake sale for a few hours, and there is plenty of support available. It shouldn't cost you any money either as we can reimburse expenses.
Whether you already have an idea and want to turn it into reality, you're not sure what to do and need some inspiration, or you're still undecided and just want to learn about what's on offer, this may be the event for you. You'll get the chance to learn about the support we offer, speak to students who have previously done fundraising at UCL, and meet like minded students who are also interested in making a difference through fundraising.
Come along to our information session on Wednesday 24 January, 2.30 to 3.30pm and spread the word to your friends too! There'll be free cakes and snacks as well!
Note: this information session is for individual UCL students or groups of UCL students interested in fundraising. If you're an officer from a Club or Society and want to do your fundraiser as part of your Club or Society, then please contact the Student Activities team instead as they support you with Club and Society activities.
