Come along to South Quad teaching block G01 at 7:30pm on the 2nd or 3rd February to see an eclectic collection of new Shakespearean work by talented members of our society! Some of the pieces original, some by the bard himself, and some even improvised, this show will absolutely have something for everyone. Come for the iambic, stay for the pentameter. Come for the blank, stay for the verse. Come out of pure curiosity, and stay because of just how bloody good it is! And see below for a more comprehensive list of the performances.

Rattlepole! - improvised Shakespeare by a troupe of very funny people!

Macbeth - a new interpretation of Macbeth's most famous monologue

Viola Pauses - an original epilogue to Twelfth Night, as Viola muses on her gender identity

Iago's Confession - an original addition to Othello, exploring the many faces of its narcissistic villain

Measure for Measure - a teaser for our 2024 Bloomsbury theatre production, running in full from the 15th-17th February

The Witchfinder - an original work based on the real life East Anglia witch trials, exploring religious zealotry in a historical setting

A Scene from Faust - a new verse translation of Pushkin's work based on Goethe's Faust; a demon and a human destroying one another

Trigger warnings: mentions of violence/torture, mentions of sexual coercion, religious themes, mentions of death.

Both shows will run from 7:30-9pm without interval, and all tickets are £5. We hope to see you there!
