Bishop Harken, the C.E.O. of the largest social media corporation in the world, GrapeVine, is dead, and a mistake in the paperwork means his chauvinistic 20 year old son, Clarence, inherits his late father’s role. With his newfound power, he removes all content moderation on the platform in the name of ‘free speech’. A tidal wave of hate speech hits GrapeVine, and the other executives have to do everything they can to dethrone him before it’s too late.
