In this event, you will be able to explore the charm of the traditional Chinese instrument, the Er'hu, and enjoy a captivating performance by the Er'hu player, Yang Yue.

The event is conducted in mandarin, with a student translator (English) at the scene!

Yang Yue, a talented Er'hu performer, has pursued her studies at the China Conservatory of Music Affiliated Middle School and the Central Conservatory of Music. She earned the qualification for direct admission to the academic graduate program at the Central Conservatory of Music, studying under the guidance of the renowned erhu educator and performer, Professor Liu Changfu. Yang Yue has showcased her musical talents in performances across numerous countries and regions. As a representative artist of the National Arts Troupe, she has participated in various cultural exchange events between China and other nations.

Yang Yue has collaborated with well-known orchestras in prestigious venues such as the National Centre for the Performing Arts, the Oriental Art Center, the Suntory Hall, and the Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay in Singapore, performing Er'hu concertos and chamber music pieces. She has contributed to the recording of instructional videos for the Central Conservatory of Music, the Erhu Association of the China Musicians' Association, and the National Centre for the Performing Arts. Additionally, Yang Yue has played the Er'hu in several operas and dance dramas, supervised various school-level research and teaching projects, and guided students to win gold and silver awards in competitions like the "Qing Le Cup" and the "Hong Kong International Music Festival.
