Lumi Farmer

Hi! My name is Lumi and I'm going into my 3rd year studying history and philosophy of Science.

As head of volunteering for MODO last year, I had so much fun getting involved in socials and helping behind the scenes for partnerships. I would love to be more involved next year, and responsibilities for MODO next year.

Being part of committee this year has helped me understand what levels of commitment are needed for this role, I know I would be able to fulfil this to ensure MODO runs just as well next year.

As vice president, I would make sure that every voice is heard. I would be open to organise socials based around your interests! This year model workshops were very popular, and I’d love to push this further. I have experience in PR, published work in magazines such as Cosmopolitan and been signed to beauty agencies. I would love to be able to connect MODO to the industry too!

thank you so much for reading, Lumi :)

Mihika Kumar

Hey everyone! I'm Mihika, a second-year law student, and I'm running to be your MODO Vice-President next year <3

Having spent two years at MODO, I've never felt a more embedded community - through walking in fashion shows, shoots for the magazine, workshops, and all the opportunities to get to know all the amazing individuals here better :)

As the current social secretary of MODO, you've probably seen me at the welcome fair, socials and parties, workshops and modelling practice! I've really enjoyed meeting so many of you, and I want to continue keeping MODO as diverse and lively a society as possible.

My vision is to transform our society into a vibrant platform where creativity meets sustainability, diversity is celebrated, and fashion is accessible. I envision a society where every member feels valued, heard, and motivated to explore their unique fashion identity. I have tons of ideas: thrifting trips, talks with those in the fashion industry, clothing swaps, and more!

Through my role as social secretary, I consistently went the extra mile in my responsibilities. Proactively helping out with every event, email correspondence, fashion show organisation, and social media, I've understood all the ins and outs of how this society operates. I will continue to be dependable, responsive and dedicated to achieving our vision and listening to your ideas. From the initial sketch to the final walk on the runway, I will always support you.
