Justin Horn

Hi everyone!

I am pleased to announce that I am running for head of events at the European Horizons Society. My name is Justin, I have been a member of the society for over a year now, and I am currently in my 2nd year of Politics, Sociology and Eastern European studies at SEESS.

Why vote for me?

Well, first, I am genuinely interested in the EU and its politics. Having a society dedicated to that is amazing because it enables people with the same interest to meet and discuss. I want to contribute to this by making this an even more engaging and interesting society for people with the same interest.

I’ll be organizing more socials. I believe social events are what make a society alive. Meeting interesting new people and getting to know them is a core part of university life, and European Horizons can be a good place for that.

Additionally, the policy workshop is a real asset for the society, and I want to contribute to its success for the next 2 years.

Secondly, I have the required skills and experience for the role. I organised events throughout my high school as a member of the student council and helped organise a marathon and did charity work for Vaincre la Mucovisidose (defeat cystic fibrosis) for the past 8 years. This experience helped me develop good communication and organizational skills that are going to be needed for the role of head of events.

With that said, I hope I have convinced you to vote for me! See you next time!
