On Sunday 12th May, The Passage will be having our first ever Walk to End Homelessness in Battersea Park. There will be three different distances around the park to choose from, 2.5km, 5km, or 10km, all of which are wheelchair and pushchair accessible. Our event village around the Battersea Bandstand will open at 11am, with entertainment and refreshments, with leaded dogs welcome. The walk will begin at 12pm, following a warm-up led by a special guest.

As a route marshal for our Walk to End Homelessness, you will be crucial in ensuring the safety and smooth flow of the event. You will be stationed along the three routes in Battersea Park to guide our walkers, provide directions, and offer assistance or support if needed. You may also need to communicate with the Volunteer Manager to report any issues that might arise during the walk. Overall, your responsibility will be to ensure that our participants have a positive and safe experience during the Walk to End Homelessness, collectively supporting those facing or at risk of homelessness in London as a community.

If you are seeking weekend volunteering experience or experience in events, this role would be suited to you and we would love to have you there!
