Home has many meanings, from the buildings we live in to a feeling that goes beyond a specific place. The Museum of the Home’s purpose is to reveal and rethink the ways we live, in order to live better together. It is a place to explore and debate what home means. Kicking off our micro-volunteering opportunities for the year, this year we’re looking for volunteers to with our exciting Lunar New Year festival 2024!

Lunar New Year at Museum of the Home is a popular annual celebration. This year Kakilang a multidisciplinary arts organisation, will be hosting a day of creative workshops and puppetry performances. There will be something to delight both children and adults at every corner.
