Description

Home has many meanings, from the buildings we live in to a feeling that goes beyond a specific place. The Museum of the Home’s purpose is to reveal and rethink the ways we live, in order to live better together. It is a place to explore and debate what home means.

We’re looking for volunteers to support us in the Family Programme during February half term.  The workshop will be a day of artist-led workshops across the museum, including large-scale collective clay building with Cernamic co-founder Nam Tran, and placemat making with textile artist Kim Chin, amongst other family activities. Our theme is “around the table”, and families will be encouraged to think and make in respond to conversations they have, food they eat and the people they spend time with around the table at home.
