Come along for a lovely evening focused on celebrating queerness in sport!! We’ll be at 188 Tottenham Court Road, Room 01/02 from 6-8pm on Thursday 22nd February. Pastries and sandwiches will be provided for all who come, and we’d really love to see you there!
There will be space to chat in smaller groups and then feedback to the room for some wider discussion. We’ll talk about creating and protecting queer spaces in university sports teams, especially when wider sporting communities may not be doing this. This will be a great opportunity for cross-club collaboration to share what everyone is doing to look after their queer members. We can workshop some ideas around longer-time goals for clubs to set, and get excited about how much progress has already been made.
We can also talk about where to find inclusive clubs for anyone wanting to take part in sports outside of UCL - either alongside your degree or for those who are heading towards their post-uni sporting era. This will also be a lovely chance for anyone to ask questions about different clubs, and hopefully get involved!
