Eden Care UK is a Befriending programme that supports individuals reaching End of Life and terminally ill individuals, with a particular focus on BAME community. That said, we support anyone who is vulnerable, e.g. shielding senior citizens, those going through life hardships such as loneliness, anyone with mental and/or physical difficulties, and anyone who needs some extra support. Our main asset is our volunteer team, who provide Befriending to our vulnerable service users. We appreciate that many volunteers have other commitments, so we adopt a flexible, yet committed approach. We also adopt a mutual benefit approach, so we provide our volunteers with all-rounded support and information to support their Befriending services.
