We are looking for a highly motivated and flexible Clinic Secretary/Receptionist for a Women healthcare clinic in the heart of the City of London to be responsible for administrative duties within our Clinic. You will be in charge of handling patient schedules, taking phone calls, and ensuring that patients receive excellent customer service overall, including receptionist duties such as picking up the phone, welcoming patients, filling in medical forms as well as chaperoning when the scans are performed. Previous experience in specific medical field preferred.

JOB TITLE: Receptionist for a Women’s Health Clinic
LOCATION: City of London, Liverpool Street
HOURS: Part-time/Full-time – growing from 2 days a week (including weekends)
SALARY: Depending on experience, £12 -14/per hour (20 -24k prorata)


JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a highly motivated and flexible Clinic Secretary/Receptionist for a Women healthcare clinic in the heart of the City of London to be responsible for administrative duties within our Clinic. You will be in charge of handling patient schedules, taking phone calls, and ensuring that patients receive excellent customer service overall, including receptionist duties such as picking up the phone, welcoming patients, filling in medical forms as well as chaperoning when the scans are performed. Previous experience in specific medical field preferred.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Schedule, reschedule and cancel appointments.
• Take phone calls from patients, labs, and physicians.
• Ensure patients receive excellent customer service.
• Verify patient information by interviewing patient, recording medical history, and
confirming purpose of visit.
• Send samples to laboratories.
• Phone patients to inform them about test results.
• Check voicemails and respond to phone calls.
• Call patients to remind them of upcoming appointments.
• Comply with office policy and procedures.
• Assist in managing medical billing.


REQUIREMENTS:
• Having good organisational skills and high attention to details.
• Being able to stay calm under stressful circumstances.
• Having interpersonal abilities.
• Being discreet with confidential information.
• Having good written and spoken communication.
• Having IT skills. Experience with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of medical terminology will be advantage.
• Experience with electronic medical records as advantage.
• Being able to work on weekends and evenings.
• Having right to work in the UK.
