Heyyyy,

Joining UCL women's rugby club this season has been the best decision I've ever made, from never having played rugby before to playing full games - I have enjoyed every moment. The club has not only been a hobby but become my family and I want this to continue in the coming years!

I am committed, organised and always up for a challenge (which I know the role will be at times). I believe that everyone deserves an equal opportunity to get involved with the sport and want to create an inclusive environment in which we can all thrive. My goal is to continue the fabulous running of the club, as well as to further reach out into our community in the hope of getting more girls involved with rugby. I want to support every single one of you on your own journeys - on and off the pitch, from joining in the party at Scala (when I'm actually allowed in) to having your back in a ruck.

I hope my passion for the sport and desire to make UCLWRC the best it can possibly be means you'll vote for me as your President for the coming season.

Harmony xoxo

Mx Madeline R Klein

Hi everyone, I’m Maddie! Through my previous committee experience as comms officer, and commitment to the team, I hope I will be able to use presidency as a way to give back to a club that has given so much to me. My priorities going into next year would be:
Growth – The huge increase in players and club community I have seen last year has been amazing, and to maintain that I want to
•    Secure similar levels of membership and engagement within the club
•    Help secure sufficient club sponsors
•    Create access to strength and conditioning programmes and affordable physiotherapy
Club Ethos – In my role I want to create an inclusive, accessible and positive atmosphere by
•    Overseeing another Rugby Day in partnership with a charity supporting those with disabilities
•    Actively celebrating the diversity within our team and create a welcoming atmosphere for all
•    Introducing more initiatives for our club to give back to our community
Visibility – Women’s rugby is one of the fastest growing sports in the world and deserves similar recognition and support to any other sport. With that, I pledge to
•    Promote and advocate for women’s sport
•    Solidify alumni networks on Facebook and LinkedIn and keep these channels active for club and career-related content
