At Students' Union UCL, we believe that sport is for everybody and this why the Pride in Sport campaign is aimed to ensure the safe and equal inclusion of LGBT+ identifying people.
The course contains two segments.
Online Training Module:
This will include key definitions, why Pride in Sport is important, safe and appropriate methods of intervention, a scenario, how to report inappropriate behaviour and a mini quiz to finish the introductory course. Approximate time to complete is 20 to 25 minutes.
Live Workshop:
Once you have completed the online training module, you are expected sign up to one of the live workshops (you book a space in our online, which will be facilitated by our Active Bystander Workshop Leaders via Zoom). The live workshops are an opportunity for you to practically apply the content learnt in the online training module and explore the scenarios and intervention techniques further. These workshops will be scheduled for 40 minutes.
