- You’ll be helping others while networking and building life experience. It’ll give you an opportunity to make the most of your UCL experience.
- You get to do cool things – I’ve co-authored a research paper, which has definitely been a memorable experience.
- You will get to apply the professional and academic knowledge and skills you’ve gained at university, in a meaningful way.
- You get real life experience… planning and carrying out research within a domain I’m interested in has given me valuable insights into doing research in the real-world.
- You will develop new skills and learn things about yourself. I’ve learnt that I’m better at time-management than I thought!
- You make contacts! Although my volunteering role has been entirely remote, I’ve made a few connections and formed a good relationship with the founder of the company.
