What to expect at Project Active Flexibility & Stretch online class:

Our weekly classes are open to all UCL staff and students and are designed to be:  

  • Beginner friendly (no experience is needed) 
  • Low commitment 
  • Inclusive and welcoming  

You will receive your Zoom link 24 hours before the class begins. Please click on the link a couple of minutes before the start time. The instructor will admit you into the online class. 

Start your day right with a stretch class. With a really busy lifestyle we tend to neglect stretching. Feeling really stiff in the morning after waking up and slouching our back into the phone/laptop screen during the day. Adding a small stretch routine can benefit you in many ways some listed below.

  • Reduce stress level
  • Increase mobility and flexibility
  • Better posture 
  • Increase muscle blood flow.
  • Muscle activation
  • Improved alertness 

The aim of this session is to release physical and mental tension. We will wake up the muscles by going through series of stretches combining dynamic and static stretches. If at any point something doesn't feel right, please listen to your body and come out of the stretch.

There is no judgement in our classes and remember all classes are beginner friendly. So have fun, try a new activity and enjoy meeting new UCL friends at Project Active.
