Hannah Legg

Teaches: Project Active Mindful Flow Yoga - Women Only

My full time job is with UCL’s Communications & Marketing team and it’s wonderful having the opportunity to teach Yoga as part of Project Active alongside this. I’ve been practicing yoga for about 8 years and qualified as a teacher in 2019. I offer fun and creative classes that get us out of our busy minds and back into our bodies and the present moment. The sequences have a particular emphasis on calming down our nervous system and releasing tension created from too much time at our desks. My intention in teaching is to create a welcoming space for you to explore the yoga practice, build strength and flexibility, and grow in confidence. You can expect a thoughtfully planned class with options for all levels of experience, and a great playlist!

Kirty Mody

Teaches: Postgraduate Pilates and Dynamic Pilates Women Only

I am a Vinyasa Yoga, Pilates and a Barre Teacher.  I have been practising Yoga and Pilates since 2011 and teaching since 2016.  Barre came into my life a couple of years ago and has taken me on a different journey of mental and physical health, which was why during the craziness of 2020 I decided to become a Barre Teacher. I love teaching and I strongly believe in using language that will promote body positivity, inspire people to become the teacher of their own body and encourage my students to discover what they can achieve. My style of teaching is fun, light-hearted and playful with a safe blend of flow and alignment; come and spend some time with me and let's see what adventures we can embark on together.

Adil Patel

Leads: Postgraduate Regents Park Run

I enjoy volunteering for Project Active because I love to get people more active, especially since postgraduate life can be very stressful. Sports keeps people healthy and improves their mood, which really helps students cope with the student life. Plus, Regent’s Park on a sunny day will always brighten your mood!

My favourite part of this role is seeing people achieve something they never thought they could do. Some runners completed their very first 5K with us, while others ran for the first time after years of inactivity.

Luciana Triggiano

Teaches: Postgraduate Yoga

I’ve been practicing yoga for over 10 years and completed my first yoga teacher training in 2019. I hold 300h of yoga training under different styles of yoga and I’m currently doing my advance yoga teacher training.

For me, my everyday yoga practice is an inward journey where I connect with my body and feelings, finding inner peace. I believe that everybody can find a place of contentment within themselves, and it is my honour to inspire and assist others on their own yoga journey.

I teach a dynamic & playful vinyasa flow with focus on the breath and bodily sensations. I invite the practitioners to be present and pay attention to their unique experience of yoga.
