Hello! I'm Davy and I've been a Zumba® instructor since 2011 amongst other group exercise classes such as box HIIT, barreconcept, Zumba toning and restorative yoga. I currently teach Box HIIT, Dance Fit and Barre at UCL Students Union' as part of Project Active.

Kirty Mody
Teaches: Postgraduate Pilates and Dynamic Pilates (Women Only)
I am a Vinyasa Yoga, Pilates and a Barre Teacher. I have been practising Yoga and Pilates since 2011 and teaching since 2016. Barre came into my life a couple of years ago and has taken me on a different journey of mental and physical health, which was why during the craziness of 2020 I decided to become a Barre Teacher. I love teaching and I strongly believe in using language that will promote body positivity, inspire people to become the teacher of their own body and encourage my students to discover what they can achieve. My style of teaching is fun, light-hearted and playful with a safe blend of flow and alignment; come and spend some time with me and let's see what adventures we can embark on together.

Adil Patel
Leads: Postgraduate Regents Park Run
I enjoy volunteering for Project Active because I love to get people more active, especially since postgraduate life can be very stressful. Sports keeps people healthy and improves their mood, which really helps students cope with the student life. Plus, Regent’s Park on a sunny day will always brighten your mood!
My favourite part of this role is seeing people achieve something they never thought they could do. Some runners completed their very first 5K with us, while others ran for the first time after years of inactivity.

Luciana Triggiano
Teaches: Postgraduate Yoga
I’ve been practicing yoga for over 10 years and completed my first yoga teacher training in 2019. I hold 300h of yoga training under different styles of yoga and I’m currently doing my advance yoga teacher training. For me, my everyday yoga practice is an inward journey where I connect with my body and feelings, finding inner peace. I believe that everybody can find a place of contentment within themselves, and it is my honour to inspire and assist others on their own yoga journey. I teach a dynamic & playful vinyasa flow with focus on the breath and bodily sensations. I invite the practitioners to be present and pay attention to their unique experience of yoga.

Zahra Khan
Teaches: Twerk Fit
I have been teaching TwerkFit for nearly 4 years now, after starting it in Singapore. I enjoy providing a safe space for everyone (all levels) to shake their bodies and discover the multiple benefits of twerking - both mental and physical. I have organised shows and performances and like to encourage all women to participate in fitness in any way that suits them. I've done a PhD (in Chemistry!) so I understand the stresses of higher education and dance for me provides a creative outlet and serious dopamine release. The best thing for me is getting feedback after the class where students tell me how much they've loved the class and want to attend more. Passion over perfection always, so come try it out if you haven't (and bring friends)!
Cami Wider
Teaches: Body Tone
My name is Cami and I am a certified Personal Trainer with additional qualifications in indoor cycling, boxing and metabolic training. I have been teaching fitness classes for over a year and I love watching gym members gain more confidence after every session. I teach in Bloomsbury Fitness, and have been working there since 2019 whilst I was a student myself at UCL. Therefore, I know exactly how hard it can be for students to juggle studies and fitness. After stepping into the ring a year ago and doing a boxing fight, I learned that fitness is a great tool for whoever struggles with mental health. I hope that with my work I can make someone feel strong, confident and happy.
