About Helena

Yoga teacher Helena performing a reversed warrior pose in long grass by a tree.

With a background in Psychology and trauma-informed yoga, I am passionate about guiding students through yoga practices that support physical, emotional and mental well-being. My approach integrates breath work, alignment and mindfulness to create a nurturing and inclusive environments where students can explore their practice and find balance. I strive to foster a supportive community and empower students to connect with their inner selves.

My teaching style is trauma-informed and offers dynamic Vinyasa, restorative Yin and gentle Slow Flow practices. In my Vinyasa classes, I emphasise fluid movement and breath synchronisation to build strength. Yin classes focus on passive postures to deepen connective tissue release and promote relaxation. Slow flow sessions combine mindful movements with a slower pace, encouraging inner calm. Each class is designed to cater to a range of abilities, fostering a balanced and accessible practice.

I view yoga as a tool to balance the body, mind and spirit, encouraging deep self-awareness, connection and inner growth. My teaching is grounded in the principles of mindfulness and compassion, aiming to create a nurturing space where students can connect with their true selves and practice loving kindness.
