We invite you to join the UCL Chamber Choir at St John’s Church, Waterloo, for a romantic celebration of Shakespeare!
St John’s Waterloo is a historic Grade II listed church, that has recently been restored and enhanced. It was constructed in 1822, but at the height of the Blitz in 1940, a firebomb fell through the roof, destroying the nave. It has since been restored in 1951, and it has only recently reopened since the its recent restoration.
The UCL Chamber Choir is made up of 22 talented singers, and conducted by Kieran Morris.
We are performing works by Tavener, Vaughan-Williams, Tallis, Byrd and many more, all set beautifully to Shakespeare texts !
There are 3 ticket options. Full Price, Concessions and UCL Students. All tickets guarantee a seat within the church but there is no allocated seating plan. Please arrive early if you would like to choose where to sit.
