The estimated 11.5 million unpaid carers in the UK face huge challenges. Most report that taking on a caring role negatively impacts their mental, physical or financial health and this has multiple detrimental effects on their lives, on families, communities the economy and society.
Coaching for Unpaid Carers wants to make coaching available and accessible to as many carers as possible. As former carers and professional coaches, we have seen how the coaching we provide has the potential to transform people's lives for the better. Working online we are able to work with carers across the UK (and beyond) and offer personalised, accessible, effective and much-needed support.
To raise awareness of the needs of unpaid carers, and make a compelling case for coaching to funders and policy makers, we collect data and stories from our clients that can bring this to life.
