The topics and ideas we cover in our project, whilst absolutely essential, can be pretty heavy. We’ll all need someone we can go to for support if something difficult comes up, if we have any needs, questions or ideas for improvement. Your role as a Volunteer Wellbeing Officer will be to ensure, as best as possible, that all our volunteers and workshop facilitators are feeling confident and happy in their roles, and report back if anything needs to change. Your responsibilities would include regularly checking in with b.zine’s volunteers, organising surveys and feedback sessions, arranging and hosting team social events and making sure everyone feels safe and listened to. You’ll be a really important friendly face for the whole team.
