The Line is East London’s public art trail. Its outdoor exhibition programme offers a journey through a dynamic urban landscape where everyone can explore art, nature, and heritage for free. As a space for discovery and learning, we believe in the transformative potential of art, nature, and wellbeing. The Line are looking for motivated and engaging Youth Guides to work outdoors on The Line, at weekends over the summer. Becoming a Youth Guide is a great way to meet others, get outdoors, enrich your local community, learn new skills, and have fun!
We are seeking a group of volunteers to assist in evaluating the impact of our Summer Youth Employment Programme by monitoring changes in participant engagement and perception over time. Volunteers will be involved in administering and analysing surveys designed to measure the project's impact, designing, and applying qualitative methods, and analysing collected data. Additionally, volunteers will contribute to providing recommendations based on their findings. This process will offer valuable insights into the program's effectiveness and help explore other relevant aspects of the project and possible improvements.
- Administer pre-, mid- and post-programme surveys to participants, using the provided survey template.
- Collect and organise survey data accurately.
- Conduct literature reviews and apply qualitative research methods to gather additional insights.
- Analyse survey results to identify changes in participant engagement and perception.
