London Nightline
To provide confidential listening, support and information to students in London throughout the night.

Do you want to promote good mental health right at your University? London Nightline needs Ambassadors (our publicity volunteers) to help us reach students like you. With your knowledge of your institution and a few hours of flexible work a month we’re much more likely to reach the volunteers we need, and the people who need our help. If you’d like to act as a liaison between your University and a hands-on mental health charity (who are celebrating their 50th Anniversary this year), then we’d love to hear from you!

Time commitment

Time commitment: Flexible, around 5 hours a month
What measures have you put in place to ensure volunteers’ safety during COVID-19?
Ambassador volunteers will only be required to undertake in-person events when it is safe to do so/ they feel comfortable doing so, and following the completion of a risk assessment.

At other times, they will be able to promote the service remotely, online!

This organisation is one of our community partner organisations.

Like all volunteer recruiters we work with, they have signed up to our service standards, agreeing to abide by our policy on partnership working.

In addition, the team here at Students’ Union UCL Volunteering Service is here to support you throughout your volunteering journey – you can get in touch at any time with any questions, queries or problems you encounter.
