You will not be expected to be available throughout the whole period. Shifts are assigned according to bookings received and depending on your availability. Priority will be given to teaching in the pre-medicine camps; however, you may also be assigned shifts across other subjects such as science and STEAM. There is also an opportunity to work beyond the summer at our regular weekend classes and school holiday camps.
The hours each day will be 7.5, from 8 am – 4 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break each day.
Payment depends on experience and qualifications. Minimum £110 per day.
You are not required to plan any materials, instructions or lessons for the camps. These will be provided for you. You will be required to read and understand any instructions, risk assessments, and teach a small group of children following the instructions provided.
You will be responsible for setting up any materials for the day, teaching a small group of children, supervising children throughout the day, packing away resources and cleaning where appropriate.
