Nyree Marsh

My name is Nyree and I am a second year Arts and Sciences student running for PR sec🔥

Joining Muay Thai (and staying committed #discipline) has been one of the best decisions I have made this year. It has been bundles of fun - I have made many new friends and outrageously improved my cardio. I would very much enjoy the opportunity to be on committee for a society that has contributed so positively to my uni life.

I am a wise old woman when it comes to committee experience. Being Sports Secretary for UCL ABACUS and Social Media Manager for UCL Table Tennis Club for the last year has provided me with heaps of very useful leadership knowledge. I am a true Instagram addict and I shall create the most yummy looking infographics for your feed.

I will elevate the Muay Thai society to new heights by using my refined videography skills to create the coldest UFN edits you will ever see. I am a visual mastermind and have some ideas up my sleeve to make UFN 2025 look even cooler.

I may not be a Muay Thai Pro, but a pro I do have is Canva Pro - a publicity officer's ultimate weapon.

Haley Fung

Hello! I'm Haley, a 1st year student from Hong Kong, and I’ve been practicing Muay Thai for around 4 months. Having joined MT society as a beginner, I was immediately drawn by the genuine, enthusiastic, and dedicated nature of the community, so I’m super excited to promote our society and share the experience through this committee role!

As a joint IT & Business student with a passion for art & design, I am well-skilled in multimedia production, digital marketing, as well as UI/UX design. Having managed LinkedIn accounts and social media platforms part-time alongside my studies, I am also experienced in community engagement and content management. Hence, I am confident in my ability to fulfil the responsibilities of maintaining UCLMT’s social media platforms and promoting social/ fighter events, and I aim to celebrate our community, empower our fighters, and showcase the beauty and power of Muay Thai.

My desire to run for the post of public relations secretary is championed by the spirit of servant-leadership and making a difference - and I am devoted to maximising our experience in UCLMT. I’m super excited to leverage my skills to amplify the voice of our community, foster connections, and elevate the presence of Muay Thai both within our university and beyond, and I need YOUR VOTE to make it happen!! :)

Grace Yeung

Hi guys! I'm Grace, a first year English student running for PR sec. I joined Muay Thai at the beginning of the year after loving the friendly vibes I got from the Freshers Fair stall (shoutout to Ameera <3). Needless to say, I fell in love with the sport and have been hooked ever since. I particularly enjoyed University Fight Night and King of the Ring - seeing the team spirit from UCL was amazing and I can't wait to experience it all again over the next two years.

I'm interested in this position as I love being creative. Apart from writing, I am passionate about photography, film, and editing, so I feel that this role would be the perfect chance for me to utilise these skills to spread word of our club and attract more new members. I also have experience running social media pages for school clubs and committees. I'm a big fan of our insta page right now so I'd love to continue this legacy and learn from Jacqui. I also have lots of ideas for our club and page so it would be great to have your vote!

Niki Callista Tanamal

As a newbie individual who came into UCL Muay Thai this 2024, I was genuinely happy to attend sessions at a vibrant community in UCL. Hence, I am excited to stand for the position of Public Relations Officer for the UCL Muay Thai. Wtih enthusiasm for promoting our sport, I am eager to leverage my skills to enhance the visiblity and engagement of our society both within the university and beyond.

As a upcoming 3rd year student, I am making the most out of my last year here at UCL to serving our members, amplifying our impact, and contributing to the dynamic and welcoming environment.
