Election post

Elected

Throughout medical school, I have become growingly intrigued by the intricacies of endocrine and metabolic health; with my clinical rotations this year further igniting my passion. If I am elected as your endocrinology chair, here is a glimpse into the future:

1) Teaching & Mentorship | We will host regular teaching sessions tailored to both clinical and pre-clinical students and instate mentorship programmes providing personalised support.

2) Inaugural Endocrinology Conference | A novel platform for students and faculty to present their research, exchange ideas, and network within the dynamic field of endocrinology.

3) Community Engagement | Community outreach programs will allow us to educate individuals on their endocrine health. From interactive workshops on diabetes management to seminars on hormonal imbalances, we will aim to foster a healthier and more informed community.

Why me?

Having presented at the annual ECCR conference, achieving an iBSc with First Class Honours in Cardiovascular Science, and by engaging in various endocrinology conferences, I have developed a strong academic foundation and prowess. This, combined with the various logistical skills I developed while serving as the Sports Director of UCL Pakistan Society, make me a strong candidate for this role. I am eager to lead as your endocrinology chair, using my array of skills and past experiences to propel our society forward!
