Hi everyone! I'm Sanjana and I'm thrilled to be running for Sanskaar Officer. Driven by a deep appreciation for our culture that’s been instilled in me since childhood, my main goal is to foster a strong sense of connection and pride in our shared cultural identity within the society. With over 14 years at Chinmaya Mission, transitioning from student to sevak, I work closely with resident Acharyas and would be honoured to bring them in to share their spiritual wisdom through talks on Sanatana Dharma.

UCL Gita Circles has helped me to introspect more, which I gain a lot of peace from, and has also emphasized the value of a Sanskaar Officer in today's world. By encouraging the questioning of traditional practices, I aim to deepen understanding as exploring their significance helps form a deeper connection to religion beyond blind adherence.

Drawing from my experiences in my local Hindu groups, I hope to introduce new events like Hanuman Jayanti and Swaranjali’s while preserving tradition. Stepping out of my comfort zone to choreograph dance medleys has improved my organization and leadership skills, which I can use when working as a team. Volunteering with the Royal Marsden and the CMUK marketing team has also underscored the essence of seva—putting others before myself—an ethos aligning with both my future profession, as a doctor, and life. I’m really excited to give back to the society and ensure the continual growth of our vibrant community, so hope I can count on your vote!
