Hi, I’m Nadia :)

I’m a second year Ancient World BA student and I host School of Rock on Rare FM. Even though I’m a massive Red Hot Chili Peppers fan, I will limit content about them to 60% of our output. Minimum.

I’m probably joking.

As the editor for UnCL I plan to;

• Leverage social media to increase the reach of our magazine and its writers, and to create a more transparent pathway to authorship.
• Increase the frequency of publication by adding a digital catalogue using the website to publish regular, year round submissions as they’re written.
• Begin public archival of Rare FM shows to enable on demand playback of episodes and help the growth of our shows.
• Foster a sense of community and collaboration through monthly workshops that allow members to discuss ideas and inspire each other.
• Embrace home grown talent by positioning UCL artists and bands front and centre in our publication.

I believe in making UnCL accessible for everyone, all backgrounds and tastes and interests. My primary aim for the magazine is for it to be the platform for people who are passionate about music and enjoy discussing all aspects of it.

I already treat music like it’s my job and I already don’t get paid for it so I would love to use this role to make UnCL everything it deserves to be.
