I am applying for this role because of what UCL Tennis socials have given me over the past year. Through the Wednesday socials, I have grown close to many people who I never would have met if not for UCL Tennis and for that I am so grateful. I would like to continue this tradition so that future members and players may also find a fun group of people to socialise with off-court! Moreover, I believe that I am equipped with the skills to organise and carry out the larger social gatherings for the society, such as the winter ball. I have seen the success of this year's ball and it inspired me to do the same, should I be given the role. Being an active member of the committee this year has enabled me to understand the logistics and commitment which goes into all of the events that UCL Tennis puts together.
