Based on my experience of 1st year, I want to knock down some inconveniences and flaws to ensure there are more opportunities for everyone including:
- Creating more flexibility of attending other classes.
- For long commuters, early morning classes might be easy to miss.
- Provide more summer work opportunities for Year 1 students
- Collaboration with other departments like medicine
- Assist CV writing by providing CV workshop
- More guidance on how to adjust easily to the upcoming year.
- Improving a welcome pack, fresher’s week, and inductions.
- Tactics regarding how to answer complex lab reports
- Make conversation with professors more approachable
- Setting up an improved student feedback system regarding lectures
- Extend opening and closing time for UCL pharmacy library during weekday
